The Chronicles of Narnia
The Chronicles of Narnia is a British television miniseries adapting four of C.S. Lewis's books, blending live-action with animation for fantasy elements like Aslan and the creatures. The first series—The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe—aired from 13 November to 18 December 1988; the second—Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader—aired from 19 November to 24 December 1989; and the third—The Silver Chair—from 18 November to 23 December 1990. Each series consists of six episodes each.

1. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1)
Air Date: 1988-11-13
It's 1940, and the Pevensie children, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, have been sent to stay in the countryside where they will be safe, away from the war. Their home for the duration is a huge rambling mansion that the children cannot resist but explore, during which Lucy stumbles across an old wardrobe which hides a magical secret.
2. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2)
Air Date: 1988-11-20
After being given a task by the White Witch Edmund finds Lucy again and they return to their own world. Edmund lies to Peter and Susan saying that Narnia was a game he and Lucy was playing, will Lucy's story ever be believed and will the Children all finally get into Narnia?
3. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (3)
Air Date: 1988-11-27
The children venture on to try and rescue Mr. Tumnus and meet the beavers who have some good news for them, but will Edmund prove treacherous once again?
4. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (4)
Air Date: 1988-12-04
Edmund betrays the others; Peter, Susan and Lucy seek the lion Aslan.
5. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (5)
Air Date: 1988-12-11
Peter, Susan and Lucy have met Aslan, but Edmund is still the prisoner of the White Witch.
6. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (6)
Air Date: 1988-12-18
Aslan is dead and Peter prepares to fight the army of the White Witch.
1. Prince Caspian (1)
Air Date: 1989-11-19
Troubled times have returned to the magical land of Narnia. Prince Caspian vows to free the persecuted animals and dwarfs and calls for help to save his kingdom.
2. Prince Caspian (2)
Air Date: 1989-11-26
The siblings rush to help Caspian in the Narnian civil war.
3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (1)
Air Date: 1989-12-03
Nasty cousin Eustace accompanies Lucy and Edmund on a new adventure in Narnia.
4. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2)
Air Date: 1989-12-10
The Dawn Treader comes to rest off an island where dragons live and breathe.
5. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (3)
Air Date: 1989-12-17
Prince Caspian and his followers fight off a sea serpent and meet more magic in their search for the missing Lords.
6. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (4)
Air Date: 1989-12-24
The world's end and the final enchantment draw near.
1. The Silver Chair (1)
Air Date: 1990-11-18
While being persued by bullies, Eustace and Jill Pole are magically transported to Narnia where Aslan has an important task for them; to seek out and find the long lost son of the aged King Caspian.
2. The Silver Chair (2)
Air Date: 1990-11-25
Jill and Eustace are introduced to Puddleglum who agrees to be their guide to the ruined city of the giants, but will their new found Marshwiggle friend meet his fate before they manage to get there?
3. The Silver Chair (3)
Air Date: 1990-12-02
Journeying on, Eustace, Jill and Puddleglum meet a lady in green who gives them directions to the castle of Harfang with the promise of food and shelter. But will their eagerness to get there distract them from their mission and make them miss another of Aslan's signs?
4. The Silver Chair (4)
Air Date: 1990-12-09
After some angry prompting by Aslan, the group realise they need to get back to the ruins and follow the instructions 'UNDER ME'. But how do they get out of the castle? And do the giants have ulteria motives for being so hospitable to two human children and a Marshwiggle?
5. The Silver Chair (5)
Air Date: 1990-12-16
Trapped underground, Jill, Eustace and Puddleglum meet a masked man under a spell that has all the marks of a witch on it.
6. The Silver Chair (6)
Air Date: 1990-12-23
Jill, Eustace, Prince Rilian and their brave friend Puddleglum face a fight to the death with the Green Lady.
